Talking Dead is a talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick on the US TV channel AMC , which revolves around the television series The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead . In the program, which will be broadcast after a new episode of the respective television series, Hardwick and his guests - including celebrity fans of the series, actors and other crew members - discuss the events of the current episode.

In addition to the discussion about the current episode, the talk show also offers insights into the creation of the series, as well as further background information. It also answers questions from fans on Facebook , Twitter or the official website. Another category is “In Memoriam”, in which the deaths of the previous episode are examined in more detail. In addition to the linear broadcast on television, other content is published exclusively online, which is between 5 and 20 minutes long and is entitled "Talking Talking Dead".
The talk show first aired on October 16, 2011, immediately following the premiere of the second season of The Walking Dead . On February 10, 2013, following the 9th episode of the third season, the airtime of the talk show was extended to 60 minutes for the first time.
