Ana Marlene Forte Machado (born July 5, 1961 in Havana ) is a Cuban - American actress , best known for the role of Carmen Ramos from the series Dallas .

life and career

Marlene Forte was born in the Cuban capital Havana . Since around the mid-90s of the 20th century, she has mainly appeared in independent films . In 2008 she received an Imagen Foundation Award nomination for her role in the film Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story . Subsequently, Forte played recurring roles in television series such as Crossing Jordan - Pathologist with Profile , House of Payne and The Secret Life of the American Teenager . Guest appearances were made in series such as For All Cases Amy , CSI: Miami , Bones - The Bone Hunter , Lost , Criminal Minds , Castle and The Mentalist .

Forte was also u. a. Also seen in Real Women Have Curves and in Star Trek .

From 2012 to 2014 Forte took on the role of Carmen Ramos in the series Dallas from the TNT series . After this engagement, she took on a recurring role again in 2015, namely in The Fosters . In 2019 she played a supporting role in Rian Johnson's crime film Knives Out .
