Marvel's Runaways is an American television series based on the characters from the Marvel comic book of the same name . It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It premiered on Hulu from November 21, 2017 to January 9, 2018 . On the same day, Hulu extended the series by a second season with 13 episodes, all of which will be released simultaneously on December 21, 2018 on the video platform. From May 9, 2018 to July 11, the first season of the series was shown in Germany on Syfy . The second season has been showing Syfy since May 1, 2019. A third season was released in December 2019, which served as the series finale.

The six teenagers Alex, Nico, Karolina, Gert, Chase and Molly used to be good friends. Two years after the death of Nico's sister, Alex invites his former friends again. The six of them notice by chance that their parents are working for “The Pride” and are sacrificing people for it. The friends try to convict their parents. At the same time, Nico, Karolina, Gert and Molly notice that they have special skills: Nico can use a magic wand, Karolina “lights up”, Gert can talk to a dinosaur and Molly is superhumanly strong.

In the last episode of the season, the six run away from home.
