Marvel's Agents of SHIELD: Slingshot , is an American web series that is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . It is a spin-off of the series Marvel's Agents of SHIELD The series consists of six episodes and was published on December 13, 2016 on the broadcaster website ABC .com.

Set shortly after the events of season 3 of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, the series focuses on Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, also known as "Slingshot" in Marvel comics.
Elena meets with Daisy Johnson and discusses a past mission together with her.
A flashback shows Elena signing the Sokovia Agreement . With this, she reluctantly agrees that SHIELD will monitor her whereabouts in the future. Director Jeffrey Mace initially rejects her wish to pursue Ramon, her cousin's murderer, as the mission must first be examined. Elena steals Mace's security card and does her own research. Melinda May then confronts her, but lets her go.
Elena finds Ramon while trying to sell an illegal weapon to terrorists. At first she is overwhelmed, but Daisy arrives surprisingly, who wants to secure the weapon. During the argument, Elena is given the chance to kill Ramon. When she realizes that this would make her no better than Ramon, she decides against it. Shortly afterwards, however, he is accidentally killed by one of the terrorists with the gun.
Back in the present, Daisy clears all evidence that Elena was involved in the mission.
