The X Factor: Celebrity is a UK special edition of The X Factor franchise specially designed for celebrity attendees. The first episode aired on October 9, 2019. Simon Cowell served as a juror alongside Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh , while Dermot O'Leary was reinstated as the presenter.
The format was announced as a gap filler in 2019, as the original was supposed to be suspended until 2020. The prominent participants were announced at the end of September 2019. On November 30th, Megan McKenna won the show with 46.3% of the audience's vote. She was followed by Max and Harvey and Jenny Ryan in third place.
Candidates
Cowell mentored the groups, Walsh was assigned to candidates under the age of 31, while Scherzinger mentored the older candidates.
