Thomas Teye Partey , known by his first name Thomas (born June 13, 1993 in Odumase Krobo , Eastern Region ), is a Ghanaian soccer player who has been under contract with Atlético Madrid since 2011 .

Career

Thomas started his career in his home country at FC Odometah and in 2011 moved to the youth department of the Spanish first division club Atlético Madrid . For the 2012/13 season he moved up to the second team , for which he played 33 point games in the third-rate Segunda División B and scored four goals.

For the 2013/14 season he moved to the Segunda División on loan to relegated RCD Mallorca , for whom he scored five goals in 37 league games. The 2014/15 season he played on loan in the Primera División for UD Almería , for which he scored four goals in 31 league games.

Thomas returned to Atlético Madrid for the 2015/16 season and has been part of the first team ever since.
