After his return to Manchester Trippier played a season on loan for Burnley FC and was then firmly committed by the club. In the 2013/14 season he was used in 41 league games and he reached second place with the team in the final table , which meant promotion to the Premier League .

After a season in which he could not keep the class with Burnley, Trippier moved to Tottenham Hotspur . There he came on September 17, 2015 in a 3-1 home win against FK Qarabağ Ağdam for the first time in the Europa League . On February 6, 2015, Trippier scored his first Premier League goal to make it 1-0 at home against Watford FC .
