On August 9 of the same year he was substituted on in the 3-0 win against FC Évian Thonon Gaillard in the closing stages, making his debut at the first division level. In the following time he came regularly as a substitute to the train and achieved relegation with the team at the end of the season.
For the 2015/16 season Lemar moved to AS Monaco . He signed a five-year contract that runs until June 30, 2020.
For the 2018/19 season, Lemar moved to the Spanish Primera División at Atlético Madrid , where he was number 11.
