Tiia-Riitta Johanna Reima (born February 1, 1973 in Tampere ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who represented her home country twice at the Winter Olympics , five times at world and five times at European championships .
Career
Tiia Reima began her career with Ilves-Kiekko in Naisten SM-sarja before moving to local rival Ilves Tampere in 1988 . With this team she won the Finnish championship in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 . Between 1994 and 1996 she played for SC Lyss and in 2003/04 for the HC Lugano in the performance class A . In 1995 and 1996 she won the Swiss championship.
In 2000 she moved to Itä-Helsingin Kiekko .
Between 2009 and 2011 she played for Espoo Blues in the SM-sarja and at the IIHF European Women Champions Cup 2009/10 . In 2011 she ended her career and became a trainer with the Blues. She looked after the team until 2014 and won two more championship titles. She has been an assistant coach for the Espoo United team since 2016 .
At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , she won the bronze medal in the Olympic ice hockey tournament with the Finnish national team .
