Timothy James Webb
Timothy James Webb , also known as Tim J. Webb as a musician (born February 13, 1967 in Warburton , Victoria ), is an Australian- born painter and sculptor who has lived in Munich since 2000 and mainly works in Upper Bavaria .
life and work
Webb grew up in Maldon , Victoria. He initially studied from 1986 to 1988 at the Victorian College of the Arts (Victoria School of Art at the University of Melbourne ), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts .
Afterwards he regularly presented his works in local solo and group exhibitions. 1997 enrolled him at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and completed his studies a year later with the degree Master of Fine Arts . In 2000 he went to Munich. Here he has also been the singer and guitarist of the band Silverflies since 2003 and is occasionally active as a DJ, including in " Harry Klein ". He plays with Franziska Ott in the duo The Forgive Me Nots . Since 2015 he has also fronted the band The Karl Marx Brothers (KMB).
Webb's pictures can be found in collections from Sony / CBS in Melbourne, the Australian Gallery of Sport and Olympic Museum Collection , the Melbourne Theater Company , the Melbourne City City Council, and at Arnon Milchan and other renowned families in Australia, in the United States , in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden and Germany.
