Tom Waits Filmography names the films in which the musician and film actor Tom Waits has worked. Waits, who worked primarily as a musician and composer on numerous soundtracks or who created them in full, also starred in around 30 films.

He made his film debut with a small role in the film Atrium to Paradise by Sylvester Stallone . In 1982 he worked for the first time on the film One with a Heart with Francis Ford Coppola and wrote the soundtrack, he was also seen as a trumpeter. Waits was nominated for Best Score at the 1983 Academy Awards. Since that film he has appeared in several films by Coppola, most recently in 2011 in the film Twixt . In addition, he worked several times as an actor with Jim Jarmusch . In most films, Tom Waits appears as a supporting actor, often as a musician or directly as himself; an exception is the film Down by Law produced by Jim Jarmusch , in which he is one of the main actors.
