Tor Svendsberget (born November 3, 1947 in Aust-Torpa ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Tor Svendsberget started for Engerdal Sportsklubb . In 1967 and 1968 he won the individual gold medals at the Junior World Championships held for the first time in Altenberg and Luleå . He first took part in the biathlon world championships in Zakopane in 1969 and was 23rd in the individual. A year later he won the silver medals both in the individual behind Alexander Tichonow and as a starting runner with Ragnar Tveiten , Magnar Solberg and Esten Gjelten as the relay of Norway behind the relay of the Soviet Union. 1971 came in Hämeenlinna again the win of the silver medal with Tveiten, Solberg and Ivar Nordkild in the relay race, in which Svendsberget was again starting runner. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , the Norwegian ran into eighth place in the individual and just missed an Olympic medal with Kåre Hovda , Nordkild and Solberg in fourth place in the relay race.
