Trouble

The album will be opened by Trouble , the first single. She had two bonus tracks in the UK: Free and Delirium . Trouble reached the top chart positions and earned her a "Best Female Vocal Performance - Rock" category at the 2004 Grammy Awards .

Trouble contains a sample of the song Fresh-Garbage by Spirit from their album Spirit , which was released in 1968 . The song was already recorded by Beck and should have been covered by Pink. However, she ended up adding only her own vocals to the existing version of Beck.

Feel good time

Feel Good Time , the second single, is included on the soundtrack for Charlie's Angels - Full Power . The music video contains scenes during a motocross race that was started by P! Nk in the film. The song was created in collaboration with William Orbit .

God is a DJ

In the song God Is a DJ , Pink compares Gott in a rather ironic way as a rocking DJ. This song was released as the third release of the album.

Last to know

Last to Know is the fourth release from the album and was also the lowest in the charts.

Genres of music

Try This is a more rocky album, but also contains bluesy retro rock sound from Waiting for Love , ballads enriched with subtle R&B elements like Catch Me While I'm Sleeping and catchy mid-tempo songs like Tonight's the Night . In addition, with the help of Peaches, the track Oh My God was recorded, which Pink herself describes as the "sexiest song" she has ever recorded.

Pink says of the album that instead of lamenting, it contains stories about individual people at whom she directs her anger. It is a little "safer and more airy" than the previous album.

success

The album reached good chart positions worldwide (including number 1 in Switzerland), but has only sold around 3 million times to date, which on the one hand shows a collapse in sales compared to its predecessor M! Ssundaztood (12,000,000) , Try This, P! nk's least commercially successful album to date. The album “only” achieved a simple platinum award in Germany (the previous and two successor albums achieved 3 × platinum).
