Tscherjomuchino ( Russian Черёмухино , German  Karlshof, Fischhausen / Samland district ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the rural community of Selski posselenije Divnoje in the Baltiysk district .

Geographical location

Cheryomukhino is located 29 kilometers west of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and three kilometers northeast of the former district town Primorsk (Fischhausen) and can be reached via a side road that branches off the regional road 27A-016 (ex A193 ) in Krylowka (Wischrodt ) in a northerly direction. The next train station is the O. p. 33 km on the Kaliningrad – Baltijsk railway line (Koenigsberg – Pillau) .

history

The Vorwerk , called Karlshof until 1946, was incorporated into the rural community of Geidau (Prosorowo) with the Wischrodt mill farm (today in Russian: Krylowka) and the Bruch (no longer existent) . This was one of 1874-1945 for District Kallen (now Russian: Zwetnoje) in the district Fischhausen , 1939-1945 district Samland in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia .

In 1945 Karlshof came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Cheryomukhino and was assigned to the village soviet Logwinski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion at the same time . In 1950 the place got into the Zwetnowski selski sowet and in 1959 then into the Powarowski selski sowet . Presumably in 1994 Cheryomukhino was assigned to the city district of Baltiysk and has belonged to the rural municipality of Selskoje posselenije Divnoje in the Baltiysk district since 2008 .

Before 1945, the population of Karlshof was predominantly of Protestant denomination and incorporated into the parish of the parish church in Fischhausen (today in Russian: Primorsk). This was in the parish of Fischhausen within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
