Tyler Gaudet (* 4. April 1993 in Hamilton , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who since July 2019 with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League is under contract on their farm team , the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League on the position of the center plays.

Career

Gaudet experienced an eventful junior career between 2010 and 2014, which led him through the Ontario Junior Hockey League , Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec , Central Canada Hockey League and finally Ontario Hockey League . There he was with Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds settled down.

As an undrafted free agent , the then Phoenix Coyotes from the National Hockey League signed the center in November 2013 and placed it on their farm team , the Portland Pirates , for the rest of the season and the 2014/15 season after the 2013/14 OHL season . in the American Hockey League . In his first full professional season Gaudet also celebrated his NHL debut when he in two games for the meantime in Arizona Coyotes renamed franchise was used. The game year 2015/16 he also spent in the AHL, but with the Springfield Falcons . In addition, however, there were another 14 NHL missions in which the attacker collected three scorer points.

After four years in the organization of the Coyotes, Gaudet and John Ramage were handed over to the Nashville Predators in February 2018 for the trade deadline . In return, Pierre-Cédric Labrie and Trevor Murphy moved to Arizona. In the organization of the Predators, Gaudet played exclusively for their farm team Milwaukee Admirals until the end of the 2018/19 season . In July 2019, he joined the Toronto Maple Leafs as a free agent .
