The 2019/20 season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League (AHL). During the regular season, which was planned from October 4, 2019 to April 11, 2020, the 31 teams of the league should play 76 or 68 matches. Due to the coronavirus pandemic , the season was interrupted on March 12, 2020 and finally canceled about two months later.
mode
The mode essentially corresponded to the one introduced for the 2015/16 season . For the first time since the 2012/13 season , the field of participants remained unchanged compared to the previous year.
