FG "Teddy" Oke Trophy
The FG "Teddy" Oke Trophy is an ice hockey trophy of the American Hockey League , which is named after the owner of the Canadian Professional Hockey League team from Kitchener , Teddy Oke . The trophy has been awarded to the North Division winner since the 2015/16 season . The award has existed since 1924 and has been owned by the AHL since the 1936/37 season - the league's first season. This makes it the oldest in the league and one of the oldest in professional ice hockey.
In the American Hockey League, the trophy was mostly awarded to division winners. Between 1952 and 1961 and in the 1976/77 season she was awarded to the champions of the league.
