American Championships in Biathlon 2009
The US American Biathlon Championships were held in Fort Kent in 2009 . The competitions on March 19th and 22nd as part of the tenth station of the Biathlon-NorAm-Cup 2008/09 . That is why the top athletes of the US Biathlon Association ( Jay Hakkinen , Tim Burke , Lowell Bailey , Jeremy Teela and Haley Johnson ) were not present, but instead were racing in the 2008/09 Biathlon World Cup . The most successful participant was the biathlete Tracy Barnes with two titles and a third place.
