The Uelfetal nature reserve with side valleys is located in the area of the town of Radevormwald in the Oberbergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The approximately 89.7 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2001 , extends north of the core town of Radevormwald along the Uelfe directly on the state road L 414, which passes on the southern edge.Not far to the west of the area, the Wupper flows , not far to the east B 483 , the B 229 runs south .
