Ulrich Cyran

Ulrich Cyran (* 1956 in Erwitte , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actor and lecturer .

Life

Ulrich Cyran completed his training as an actor from 1980 to 1983 at the Hamburg University of Music and Performing Arts . Subsequently he had engagements in Krefeld, Neuss, at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus , at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden , at the Hebbel Theater and the Sophiensaelen in Berlin, the Internationale Kulturfabrik Kampnagel in Hamburg and at the Mousonturm Frankfurt. He is also active as a director at the Deutsches Stadttheater and in the independent scene. Cyran also works as an author and since 1999 as a lecturer for roles and fundamentals at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . Since 2007 he has been directing at the Helene Lange School in Wiesbaden and at the Alexej von Jawlensky School in Wiesbaden. Since 2011 he has also been a lecturer at the Offenbach am Main University of Art and Design, specializing in directing, with a focus on working with actors in front of the camera.

Cyran himself also works as a film and television actor. He also became known for his role as school director Mr. Altrichter in the series Das Haus Anubis , in which he was a part from September 2009 to May 2012. As an actor, Cyran appeared in several episodes of the crime series Tatort . He has acted in films such as Death in Istanbul and Die Tote vom Deich by Matti Geschonneck and Herzversagen by Thomas Freudner.
