Ulrich Eckstein (born April 6, 1931 in Krefeld , Germany , † 2010 ) was a German ice hockey player . The striker is a former German national player .

Career

Ulrich Eckstein began in 1950 as a player for the Krefelder EV , with whose team he became German champion in 1952 and which he later led as captain. In 1960 he moved from Krefeld to Cologne EK , where he played until 1963.

International

Ulrich Eckstein was on the ice 24 times for the German national team , including at the 1955 Ice Hockey World Championship .

After the end of his playing career he was chairman of the Cologne EK and Cologne EC. Until 2007 he still took on tasks at the Cologne EC .
