Ulrike Ulrich

Ulrike Ulrich (* 1968 in Düsseldorf ) is a Swiss - German writer .

life and work

Ulrike Ulrich studied German , art history and communication studies in Münster . Then she worked in Bochum in the field of computational linguistics . In 1999 she moved to Vienna and worked at the Poetry School . Ulrich writes prose , poetry , screenplays , columns , radio plays and is the editor of anthologies. Ulrike Ulrich has lived in Switzerland since 2002 .

Ulrich is a member of the Swiss Writers ' Association , the German-speaking Swiss PEN Center , the Austrian IG Authors' authors , in the Poetenladen and the Zurich literature group index (word and effect) .

Ulrich's kaleidoscopic Zurich novel, During We Celebrate , was published in 2020 and outlines Switzerland's self-image and the image of others.
