The University of Nordland ( Norwegian : Universitetet i Nordland, UiN ) was a state university in the Norwegian city ​​of Bodø that existed from 1994 to 2016 with 4800 students and 430 academic staff (2006). The university was divided into four faculties. The rector of the university was Pål Pedersen. She was a member of the University of the Arctic .
