Mill

The only house, an old mill, has a half-hip roof , was built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Built in the 18th century, however, it has an older core and is a listed building.

Volunteer Fire Brigade Steiningloh-Urspring

After a fire on a farm in Steiningloh in June 1904, everyone in Steiningloh, Urspring, Urspringermühle and Schwärzermühle agreed that they needed their own fire brigade.

After the resolution to found the volunteer fire brigade was passed unanimously at a community meeting on August 4, 1904 , 32 men immediately committed to join. The first board was elected on August 7th.
