Utrecht network
The Utrecht Network ( English : Utrecht Network) is a Europe-wide international cooperation of universities , which was founded in 1987. It advocates initiatives in Europe and wants to strengthen cooperation between the member universities. The network promotes the internationalization of the institutions and participates in the exchange of experiences. The aim of the network is to achieve good quality in the administration of European and international projects, in student exchanges, in services and in organization .

The president of the Utrecht network is the Italian Francesco Girotti, the executive secretariat is based at the University of Bologna (as of 2018). The annual general assembly for 2018 was held in April 2018 at the Comenius University in Bratislava . In 2017 the University of Hull hosted. The Utrecht network works with the Australian-European-Network (AEN) and the Mid-America Universities International (MAUI).
activities
The planning and implementation of activities is part of the range of tasks of a task force made up of the ranks of the member institutions and partners. Current initiatives are the internationalization of the curricula knowledge base, training programs for university staff, the organization of international summer schools and funding programs for young researchers .
