Vanessa is a German erotic film of director Hubert Frank from the year 1977 . Olivia Pascal can be seen in the title role .

action

After the death of her uncle Richard, the convent student Vanessa travels to Hong Kong to take on her inheritance. There she learns that there are several brothels and a plantation . However, the plantation manager Adrian disputes her inheritance by claiming to be the illegitimate son of the deceased uncle. When Vanessa visits the plantation, she is almost raped by Adrian.

After Vanessa has won the lawsuit for the inheritance, she sells the brothels and gives the plantation to Adrian, whom she had already dismissed, because he freed her from the clutches of Cooper, who tied Vanessa in a sadomasochistic rack and whipped her wanted to. Vanessa is leaving Hong Kong to live in Switzerland in the future .

Director Hubert Frank received the directorial assignment at short notice through a phone call from Bangkok, as the originally planned director Siggi Götz was indispensable. As the leading actress, producer Karl Spiehs hired the previously unknown medical assistant Olivia Gerlitzki, from whom he made Olivia Pascal. The film became one of the most successful productions by Lisa Film, which was shown in cinemas in London for weeks.

Vanessa was filmed in Hong Kong, Thailand and Kufstein , Austria . The film came to the March 11, 1977 cinemas . It was released on DVD on September 28, 2012 .
