Veľké Držkovce is a municipality in western Slovakia west of the city of Bánovce nad Bebravou .
It was created in 1976 by the merger of the municipalities Čuklasovce (Hungarian Csuklász ) Dolné Držkovce (German sub Dersch Kowitz , Hungarian Alsódraskóc ) and Horné Držkovce (German upper Dersch Kowitz , Hungarian Felsődraskóc ).
