Victor L. Williams (born September 19, 1970 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American actor and producer . He was best known for playing the role of Deacon Palmer in the sitcom King of Queens .

Williams attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York and Binghamton University. He played other roles in Emergency Room and Law & Order . He also made a cameo in the film Cop Land .
