The Vilayet Kastamonu ( Turkish Kastamonu Vilayeti ) was a Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire . It had an area of ​​50,686 km², the capital was Kastamonu .

history

Until the 19th century Kastamonu was a sandjak of Eyâlet Anatolia and was renamed Eyalet in 1846 and by the Vilâyet Nizamnâmesi in 1867 into a Vilâyet.

  • Kastamonu Sancağı
  • Bolu Sancağı
  • Kangırı (Kengırı) Sancağı
  • Sinop Sancağı'dır.
