Bird park
A bird park is an animal park that focuses on the breeding and care of certain, mostly exotic bird species. Large bird parks include a. usually a large number of aviaries, air-conditioned tropical houses , walk-in free-flight halls and hatcheries in which the rearing of young animals can be observed through panes. Many parks also offer entertainment programs (bird shows) in which trained birds perform tricks. In addition, there are many (often smaller) club-run bird parks, especially in Germany (Hesse and Upper Rhine region), some of which can be visited free of charge and some of which have rare species in their population.
