It rises in the municipality of Bonstetten , flows through the narrow Wüerital and reaches the Reppisch valley near Birmensdorf , where it flows into the lower Reppisch parallel to the somewhat smaller Lunnerenbach . geography

course

The Wüeribach rises as a village stream at 643  m above sea level. M. in the Birch forest above Bonstetten. From here on, it initially flows mainly in a north-westerly direction through the village of Bonstetten, which it mostly crosses in an overturned position. It leaves the village and now runs straight between fields through a wide plain in a northerly direction. A little later, the stream reaches the municipal boundary to Wettswil am Albis , where it is called Fischbach . It passes the village in the west and takes up the approximately four kilometer long Fridgraben from the right . It reaches the northern municipal boundary to Birmensdorf, where the stream meanders through the narrow Wüerital into the Reppisch valley. This valley was created in the last ice age as a meltwater channel of the Wettswiler and the Aescher tongue of the Reuss glacier . The Wüeribach now reaches Birmensdorf, takes on the Aescherbach from the left , and finally flows out at 461  m above sea level. M. in the Reppisch.
