Under the direction of director Günter and Paul Neumann, who later became a professor in Brno , thousands of parts were cast, forged and rolled in the company. The “Iron Church” was then trial assembled in the company's courtyard in the Meidling district of Vienna. This major project caught the attention of the Viennese and articles about it appeared in several Viennese newspapers. In the interwar period, numerous steel bridges in Vienna such as the Schwedenbrücke , Floridsdorfer Brücke , Friedensbrücke or Augartenbrücke were built by Waagner Biró.
