The Entlebuch constituency is one of six constituencies in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland . In terms of area, it largely corresponds to the Entlebuch office , which was repealed on January 1, 2013 ; The municipality Wolhusen , which until December 31, 2012 belonged to the Sursee office, was added .
geography
The Entlebuch constituency is located in the southwest of the canton of Lucerne, south of the Napf . The constituency is more or less congruent with the headwaters of the rivers Kleine Emme and Ilfis , one of the headwaters of the Emme .

Biosphere reserve
The Entlebuch region since 2000, the first UNESCO - Biosphere Reserve in Switzerland (after Seville Strategy). Seven of the nine municipalities in the Entlebuch constituency belong to the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch: Doppleschwand, Entlebuch, Escholzmatt-Marbach, Flühli, Hasle, Romoos and Schüpfheim.
