The Hochdorf office was one of five offices in the Swiss canton of Lucerne . The District Hochdorf was in the reorganization of 1798 created and initially comprised only the former for Foreign Affairs Office of the County Rothenburg belonging Seetaler communities north of Emmen . In 1803 the Hochdorf office was expanded to include the entire area of the former Rothenburg office and also to include the municipalities of the Hitzkirch office as well as Schongau and Ermensee , then again reduced to Hildisrieden , Neudorf , Buchrain and Dierikon in 1814 . It now includes the Lucerne Seetal from Hallwilersee in the north, around the Baldeggersee to the Reuss . The new Lucerne cantonal constitution of 2007 no longer has any offices, but they still exist as statistical units and as constituencies , as they have been officially designated since the beginning of 2013 (see Hochdorf constituency ).
