The constituency of Landau in der Pfalz (constituency 50) is the only state parliament constituency in Rhineland-Palatinate whose territory passes through three regional authorities. More precisely, it includes:
- the independent city of Landau in the Palatinate
- from the district of Germersheim the Verbandsgemeinde Lingenfeld
- from the district of Südliche Weinstrasse, the municipalities of Edenkoben and Offenbach an der Queich
Currently, Wolfgang Schwarz (SPD), successor to Christine Baumann , who was directly elected in 2006 , and Christine Schneider (CDU) are the members of the state parliament of the constituency (as of May 18, 2011).
