Wansheng

Wansheng ( Chinese  万盛 区 , Pinyin Wànshèng Qū ) was a district of the government- direct city ​​of Chongqing in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It had an area of ​​565.58 km². In censuses in 2000 and 2010, Wansheng had 265,743 and 255,776 residents, respectively.

On October 22, 2011, the former Wansheng District was dissolved and merged with the former Qijiang County to form the new Qijiang District .

One of its attractions is the Wansheng Stone Forest (万 盛石林).
