Coat of arms of warts
Blazon : "In the red shield a silver medieval watchtower on a green hill ."
Reasons for the coat of arms: Various documents from the Middle Ages, especially the Winzenburg hereditary register from 1578, indicate that Warzen was the border town of the Wispenstein court against the Lauenstein office and therefore had a stone watchtower - called the "Warzer Tower". The coat of arms described above is designed on the basis of these facts.
