Wera Jurjewna Rebrik ( Russian Вера Юрьевна Ребрик ; Ukrainian Віра Ребрик Wira Rebryk , English Vera Rebrik ; born February 25, 1989 in Yalta , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a javelin thrower of Ukrainian origin. It starts (as of mid-2016) for Russia.

In 2005 she finished second at the World Youth Championships; In 2006 she won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships. In 2007 she became European Junior Champion with 58.48 m; In 2008 she won the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz (with a new junior world record of 63.01 m).

One month after the junior title, she took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, but was eliminated in qualifying. In 2009 she won silver at the Universiade in Belgrade and was ninth at the World Championships in Berlin with 58.25 m. In June 2010 she improved her personal record in Istanbul to 63.36 m. At the European Championships in Barcelona in 2010 and at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, she was eliminated from the qualification. In 2012 she won the gold medal at the European Championships in Helsinki with the Ukrainian national record of 66.86 m, but did not get past the first round at the Olympic Games in London . At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, she was eleventh.

After the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, she took on Russian citizenship. After the Russian federation paid compensation to the Ukrainian federation in 2015, the federation gave it a clearance. At the World Championships in Beijing , she was eliminated in qualification. At the 2016 European Athletics Championships and the 2016 Olympics she was not allowed to participate because of the barrier of the Russian Athletics Federation.

Rebrik is 1.75 m tall and weighs 65 kg in competition.
