Wilhelm Bausch , from 1851 von Bausch , (* March 12, 1804 in Lahr , † March 8, 1873 in Karlsruhe ) was a German administrative lawyer and judge in the Grand Duchy of Baden . He was a member of the Baden Estates Assembly .

Wilhelm Bausch was the son of Wilhelm Carl Bausch , member of the government in Freiburg im Breisgau , and Friederike Charlotte nee. Fingadoni . He was married to Emilie born in October 1835 . Eisenlohr , daughter of Johann Jacob Eisenlohr (1776–1840), pastor in Rastatt.

Life

From the winter semester of 1822/23 onwards, Bausch studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and became active in the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . When he was inactive , he moved to the Georg-August University in Göttingen . After returning to Freiburg, he passed his exams in 1825 and became a legal intern on December 24, 1825.

On January 22, 1829, he took up a position as a trainee secretary at the court court of the Middle Rhine District in Rastatt , three years later, on November 29, 1832, he became court assessor at the court court in Rastatt. From November 9th, 1835, he worked as a bailiff at the Offenburg district office , but on December 23rd he switched to the Hornberg district office and was promoted to senior bailiff there on November 25th, 1841. Half a year later, from March 3, 1842, he moved to the district office of Müllheim as senior bailiff and board member , where he stayed again for only one year, until his move on March 23, 1843 as senior bailiff and board member in the Lahr district office .

Further professional positions were from December 5, 1844, the post of senior bailiff and board member at the Landamt Karlsruhe , where in 1849 he also took on the duties of civil commissioner . From July 22, 1864 he worked as an administrative judge at the Karlsruhe Administrative Court , where he was retired on February 27, 1869.

Political activity

Wilhelm Bausch was a member of the Baden Estates Assembly for the 14th to 21st electoral periods (1850/51, 1851/52, 1854, 1855/56, 1857/58, 1859/60, 1861/63 and 1863/65) for the electoral district of 19 (Amt Lahr without the city of Lahr).

Awards

In 1842 Bausch became an honorary citizen of the communities of Schiltach , St. Georgen in the Black Forest , Lehengericht , Langenschiltach , Brigach . In 1849, as civil commissioner, he received the commemorative medal for fighting the revolution of 1848/49. In 1851 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Württemberg Crown Order , which was associated with the personal title of nobility. Also in 1851 he received the Knight's Cross of the Zähringer Lion Order .
