Wilhelm "Willi" Herren (born June 17, 1975 in Cologne ; † April 20, 2021 there ) was a German entertainer , actor and pop singer .

Willi Herren became famous for the role of Oliver "Olli" Klatt , which he played in 170 episodes in the ARD series Lindenstrasse from 1992 to 2007 . During this time, Herren also appeared in Sönke Wortmann's The Moving Man as well as in Kutluğ Ataman's Lola and Bilidikid , in the TV film Heartbeat , in Kahlschlag and in various TV series as a guest actor.

The third RTL - Promiboxen Willi Herren 2004 lost against the rapper Darkman Nana . In the same year he took part in the second season of the RTL show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! part and took third place.

Private life

Willi Herren's father of the same name was active as a boxer and has six children. His mother Ute worked as a prostitute and died of cancer at the age of 35. Herren was in a relationship with Mirella Fazzi, who is of Italian origin from Cologne, from 1993 to 2003. Together they have their son Stefano (* 1994) and their daughter Alessia-Millane (* 2002). Fazzi made missing maintenance payments public. The family life of the gentlemen was the topic of the seven-part series Die Herrens, Willis wilde Welt on RTL II from 2014 to 2016 .

From 2009 to 2016, Herren was in a relationship with his manager Jana Windolph, who ultimately broke up because of an affair with the Mallorca singer Jasmin Jennewein . Jennewein became his girlfriend and his wife in 2018.

On May 15, 2008, Herren was sentenced to six months' imprisonment on probation by the Cologne District Court for driving twice without a license . On November 6, 2008, Herren was sentenced by the Cologne District Court to another suspended sentence of one year and two months and a two-year ban on driving for driving without a license, drunk driving and coercion . In addition, he had to pay 3,000 euros to the Foundation to Avoid Road Victims in Germany. On February 4, 2010, after cheating on the cost of a taxi, Herren was arrested on a pending arrest warrant against him.

On June 9, 2012, Herren caused a sensation by appearing at the side of the Salafist preacher Pierre Vogel at his rally in Cologne. On June 11, 2012, Herren stated that he was completely distancing himself from the Salafists.

In June 2020, the broadcaster RTL announced the personal bankruptcy of Willi Herren. Insolvency proceedings against him had already been opened at the Cologne District Court at the beginning of May. On March 2, 2021, Jasmin Herren announced the end of the marriage. On April 18, men opened a Food Truck for potato pancakes in Frechen .

On April 20, 2021, Willi Herren was found dead in his apartment in Cologne-Mülheim.
