Wilhelm Holle (politician)
Albert Heinrich Friedrich Wilhelm Holle (born July 25, 1866 in Dortmund , † November 26, 1945 in Bückeburg ) was a German administrative lawyer and local politician .
Life
From July 18, 1906 until 1918, Holle was Lord Mayor of the city of Essen and representative of the city in the Prussian manor house . Before that, he had been working in the city administration since July 18, 1900. In 1920, Holle was appointed Reich Commissioner in the Free State of Saxony-Gotha for a good two months . From 1921 to 1932 he worked as a senior administrative judge.
Wilhelm Holle was married to Ella, born Meininghaus (* August 15, 1872, † October 20, 1942). Since 1887 he was a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen .
The Hollestrasse in Essen is named after him.
