Windham County is a county in the state of Connecticut with 109,091 residents. The traditional county seat is Windham , but in Connecticut all local administrative functions have been transferred to the parishes.

The county had a population of 109,091 people as of the 2000 census . There were 41,142 households and 28,223 families. The population density was 82 inhabitants per square kilometer.
