Vyacheslav Leonidowitsch Truchno ( Russian Вячеслав Леонидович Трухно ; born February 22, 1987 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Lørenskog IK in the GET leagues . His father Leonid was also a hockey player.

Career

Vyacheslav Truchno began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the Danish club Rungsted IK , for whose professional team he was active with his father in the AL-Bank Ligaen from 2002 to 2004 and with whom he won the Danish cup competition in the 2003/04 season . The center then moved to the Canadian junior league QMJHL , in which he ran from 2004 to 2007 for the PEI Rocket and Olympiques de Gatineau . During this period he was one of the best players in the league and was elected to the All-Rookie Team in 2005 and the first All-Star Team of the QMJHL in 2007. In addition, the Russian was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2005 in the fourth round as a total of 120th player by the Edmonton Oilers . From 2007 to 2010 he was exclusively for Edmonton's farm team , the Springfield Falcons , in the American Hockey League .

In July 2010 Truchno signed a contract in his Russian homeland with HK Sibir Novosibirsk from the Continental Hockey League , but left the club without having played a single league game in September 2010. In early November 2010 he completed a test training with the Krefeld Penguins in the German Ice Hockey League . A few days later he signed a contract with the Bakersfield Condors from the ECHL . There he was a regular player in the 2010/11 season and took part in the ECHL All-Star Game . At the same time he played three games as a loan player for the AHL team of the Peoria Rivermen . For the 2011/12 season , the Russian was committed by the KHL Medveščak Zagreb from the Austrian ice hockey league .

Truchno spent the 2012/13 season at Asplöven HC in HockeyAllsvenskan and convinced there with 43 scorer points from 50 season games, so that he received a contract with Luleå HF from the Svenska Hockeyligan (SHL) for the following season . In May 2014 he moved to the newly promoted Djurgården Hockey , but after only 15 games in December 2014 moved to the second division Karlskrona HK and rose with the team after the 2014/15 season in the SHL.

International

For Russia Truchno took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2005 . In this he gave an assist in six games and received six penalty minutes.
