Vladimir Jurjewitsch Antipin ( Russian Владимир Юрьевич Антипин ; born April 18, 1970 in Temirtau , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Kazakh ice hockey player and current coach . His son Wiktor is also a professional ice hockey player, but plays internationally for Russia .

Career

Wladimir Antipin began his career in the 1988/89 season with the Soviet second division Awtomobilist Karaganda . In his first season he played seven games. 1991 Antipin played in the first Soviet league with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . In 1996, the defender moved to the Czech club HC České Budějovice , where he only played one season. Then he was committed by the Russian first division club Metallurg Magnitogorsk for two seasons. Further stations since the 2000/01 season have been HK Lada Tolyatti , Severstal Tscherepowez , Metallurg Novokuznetsk , HK Avangard Omsk , HK Sibir Novosibirsk , Kazachmys Karaganda , HK Metschel Tscheljabinsk and Chimik Moskowskaja Oblast . Antipin was under contract with Amur Khabarovsk from Russia from 2006 to 2009 and then moved to the Kazakh club Barys Astana , where he ended his career in 2010.

From 2010 to 2013 he worked as an assistant coach at Sibirskije Snaipery Novosibirsk from the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In 2015 he was temporarily assistant coach at HK Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Continental Hockey League .

International

In 1998, Vladimir Antipin took part in the Winter Olympics in Nagano with Kazakhstan , scoring a goal and an assist in seven games. In 2006, Antipin was appointed to the Kazakh national team and took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics, scoring a goal in five games could book for itself. He had previously participated in qualifying for the Games in Turin .

He played for Kazakhstan first in the C World Championships in 1993 , 1995 and 1996 , the B World Championship in 1997 when he was called up to the tournament's All-Star Team, and the A World Championship in 1998 . After switching to the current division system, he played in the top division in 2004 , 2005 and 2010 and in division I in 2009 .
