The Wolseley Fourteen was a mid-range car that Wolseley released in 1923. This first model was built until 1926 and then replaced by the 16/35 , which had been in production since 1925 . In 1935 another car with this name appeared. It was only produced for three years and made way for the Wolseley 14/56 in 1937 . In 1938 there was another Fourteen sedan, which was offered parallel to the 14/56 until 1939. After the Second World War , it was continued to be built unchanged from 1946 to 1948.

The first Fourteen or 14 hp was a car that was added to the Wolseley 15/40 .
It had a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2614 cm³ and water cooling, but in contrast to the 15/40 it had valves on the side instead of an overhead camshaft. The car was delivered on a chassis with a 2997 mm wheelbase. The superstructures were 4039 mm long.
In 1926, production was discontinued in favor of the 16/35 , which had been available since 1925 .

The second Fourteen or 14 hp appeared in 1935 and was added to the Hornet Special as a slightly larger six-cylinder model .
Its in-line six-cylinder engine had a displacement of 1604 cm³, OHC engine with an overhead camshaft. The cars were bodyworked B. as a four-door sedan.
In 1937 the Fourteen was replaced by the larger 14/56.

The third Fourteen was published in 1938 and was added to the 14/56 published a year earlier.
Both models had in-line six-cylinder engines with a displacement of 1818 cm³ and with overhead valves operated via tappets, bumpers and rocker arms. They were only bodied as four-door sedans.
In 1937 the 14/56 was discontinued. Production of the Fourteen was discontinued in 1939 due to the war and resumed for three years in 1946. Then the little six-cylinder disappeared for good.
