The 2003/04 season was the 22nd edition of the highest English women's ice hockey league , the Women's Premier Ice Hockey League . The league is run by the English Ice Hockey Association , the English association under the umbrella of the British ice hockey association Ice Hockey UK . The winner received the Chairman's Cup .

Initially, all teams played a simple round with a return leg. The four best reached the semifinals. The last got relegated, the penultimate had to relegation against the best of the 1st division. In the final round, only one game was played between the opponents.

Relegation
Results of the comparisons for a place in the Premier Division are not known. As a result, however, the bottom-placed Basingstoke Bison Ladies were no longer represented in the top division in the next season, but the teams Solihull Vixens, who were second in the main round of the southern group and champions of Division I, and the Telford Wrekin Raiders, who were winners of the northern group .
Division 1
The Women's National Ice Hockey League is the second tier of the English women 's ice hockey league after the Premier League. Division 1 is the highest class in it. It is divided into two regional groups. A double round was played in the north group and a single round in the south group.
