Yannick-Lennart Albrecht (born April 28, 1994 ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with EV Zug from the National League since 2018 .

career

The Valais comes from the youth movement of the EHC Visp , he grew up near the Litterna ice rink . Albrecht moved to SC Langnau at the age of 15, where he was housed with a host family. In Schüpfheim he attended the sports high school. In the 2013/14 season he made the leap into the squad of the SCL Tigers , with which he became champion of the NLB in 2015 and rose to the NLA . He quickly got used to the higher demands in the NLA. At the beginning of November 2015, he signed a contract extension with the Emmentalers until 2018. In December 2017, EV Zug announced  Albrecht's commitment starting with the 2018/19 season.

National team

In January 2016 Albrecht received his first squad for the senior national team and made his first international matches at the Slovakia Cup.
