The following season he continued to play for HC Plzeň in 1929, but again received occasional missions with a 1st division team, this time with KLH Chomutov . This won the league championship in 2012.

In the 2012/13 season , HC Plzeň was among the best teams in the league with third place already during the main round, with Milan Gulaš , club partner Martin Straka as captain and Jan Kovář as a constant scorer standing out.
