Attractions

At the Bunun Leisure Farm ( 布 農 部落 , Bùnóng Bùluò , English Bunun Leisure Farm ) in the village of Pasikau (Taoyuan), rural life can be combined with the experience of the Bunun folk culture.

In the village of Vakangan / Hongye there is a small memorial hall commemorating the 7-0 victory of the Hongye youth baseball team against a high-ranking Japanese youth team on August 25, 1968. The event led to a real baseball boom in Taiwan, so that Taiwanese baseball teams occupied an important position in the world elite in the 1970s.
