Osman Döring

Osman Döring (alias Yavuz Çelik Karahan , actual name Osman Yobaş , also spelled Osman Yobas ; born 1956 in Aydoğmuş, Kırşehir , Turkey) is a contemporary figure of Islam in Germany , the Netherlands and Europe of Turkish origin.

As the successor to Mehmet Sabri Erbakan , Döring was chairman ( başkan ) of the Islamic Community Millî Görüş eV (IGMG) since 2002 , an Islamist organization founded in 1985 in Cologne (as the "Association of the New Worldview in Europe" - AMGT) Connections to Turkey based in Cologne-Holweide, which has a prominent position in the German Islamic Council .
